Established in March 2004 as an embroidery and garment printing service to local sports clubs and businesses in the North Kildare area, Quickstitch has grown to offer much more than just t shirts and sweatshirts!
Quickstitch embroidery was founded by Darren Mooney with a single head Inbro embroidery machine at his home in Kilcock having spent 10 years working in a local sports store building many contacts in supply and customers also. Quickstitch then grew into Darren's garage which was converted in 2006 to allow space for the new addition of a Barudan 4 head embroidery machine, and also a Baurdan single head embroidery machine which had now replaced the Inbro machine. This helped increase quality, turn around times and also allowed us to increased our customer base. There was now also space for an office and increased production area.
in 2009, our next step to expansion was to setup a christmas pop up shop personalising Christmas Stockings and baby gifts, originally in Tesco Maynooth, then on to Manor Mills Shopping Centre Maynooth, where on the spot mug printing was added to our services. this was to be an annual feature in Maynooth for the following 8 years.
In 2011 we moved premises to a retail unit in the heart of Maynooth which now could feature a showroom and displays of our work. Customers could watch us at work, and were in prime position to help out students of Maynooth University with their club and soc hoodies. We had many personalised gift ideas and could personalise almost anything from a plate to an umberella usually within an hour!
In 2016 we saw the direction of the business was moving towards business clients and larger quantities. We needed to increase our showroom are and production area. The traffic in Maynooth was progressively coming to a standstill so a move out of the town was needed. We took over a unit in the Maynooth Business Campus in October 2016 where we could also conveniently cater for the needs of our neighbour and customer Nitro Sports and Axis Promotional Products. We expanded our machinery with Roland versacamm sign printing machine in February 2017, and a Barudan 8 head embroidery machine in March 2017, and again in April 2018 with a Barudan 6 head embroidery machine now allowing hundreds of designs to be produced every day!
Quickstitch Embroidery became a part of Axis Group Sales in February 2018 adding many brands and promotional possibilites to our catalogue!

Uniforms
We deal with every one from the local plumber, to international competitors at various sports, and on into outer space where even astronauts on the international space station have worn our work!
Garment Printing
We use the latest computer design packages to create text, designs and logos that can be cut from very flexible heat applied vinyl. Heat applied vinyl is used to print sponsors names for jerseys, initials for tracksuits, business names for Hi-Viz vests, and “creative” individual names for hen and stag t shirts! We have the technology to print full colour, durable, quality images onto t-shirts, with a minimum order of 6pcs. This facility has proven extremely popular with the stag and hen party market.
